If you are not excited about the Word of God, then you need to read It more often. We send a Verse of the Day to more than two hundred people in the 5 continents, and many are excited and express their gratitude on a daily basis. This is a precious gift from God, to let us know His thoughts, His plan, and to encourage and guide us daily. We have to be and we are excited about the Word of God. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalms 119:105
Other people are excited about bringing the Word in their own language to their people, and here we offer the resources that make that possible. A message we received recently says:
"I am developing a free, non-profit Bible study app for Serbian-speaking Christians ("Proučavanje Biblije"). It has no ads and no paid features. It helps people read the Bible, study in groups, mentor one another and pray together.
We would like to offer your Serbian audio Bible (the Daničić–Karadžić translation, which matches the text in our app) so users can listen to the chapters. We understand your request not to link the whole audio Bible to your servers, so we would like to ask which of these options you would permit. DS.
Our work aims to also bridge the gap between the different denominations. Here is a message we received this month from a ‘Sister’:
Dans la paix du Seigneur JÉSUS CHRIST mes frères et soeurs, Je tiens à vous remercier pour votre merveilleux trabajo. Que DIEU TOUT PUISSANT, vous comble vos familles et vous. Je vous aime mes frères et soeurs avec le grand amour que nous avons reçu de DIEU par son fils unique JÉSUS CHRIST. MERCI MERCI et Gloire à l'ÉTERNEL TOUT PUISSANT. Soeur SIMA.
(Brush up on your French – use your translation feature, it is easy to understand anyways)
With so much love we receive from our brothers and sisters who appreciate the work we are doing it is not hard to keep going. We hope you know that if you are reading this is because you are part of it.
Then we have how much more we could be doing. Indeed. We are underfunded to be able to atteend all requests. Nevertheless, these and other requests from the field are in our prayers and we hope to find solutions:
Sir, I'm the founder of a christian based nonprofitable charitable society working in india since 1994 for the welfare of the visually challenged in india. We need audio bible devices in indian languages to distribute to the blind on free of cost. We have no any source of income to buy and distribute. If we get some we can distribute in Kerala and other states of india in their own languages to know and grow in the knowledge of God. You can contact me at: ...
This and much more is the essence of Wordproject’s mission. We thank you for your prayers and support.
