Samuel’s Visit to Congo

“Only one life, it will soon be past, only what is done for Christ will last”.

Samuel, our dear long time friend who has been with us in the recordings of the Swahili Bible, took a trip to Congo to bring the Gospel to the region of Kisangani, in Eastern Congo. He took with him a gift of audio Bibles from Wordproject.  Among the many testimonies of people receiving the Gospel and the excitement of those who were blessed with the audio players, he mentioned that during the 36-hour bus ride he sat next to a young Congolese man with whom he shared the Gospel. At a certain point  he gave this young man an audio Bible, which he immediately plugged himself into and listened all the way through.  Samuel reported that the need for Audio Bibles is very great there, not only because Bibles are hard to find but also because audio Bibles make it possible for people who never learned to read to hear the Word of God.  Thank you for your prayers for greater supply.

Here are several pictures of Samuel’s trip that started in Nairobi, through Uganda and then into the eastern part of Congo on the way to Kisangani. This will also give you a glimpse of the conditions and the need in many areas in central Africa. (click picture to enlarge)

New audio recordings

This month we were blessed with increased communication from India. We were contacted by Anil, in Chandigar, offering to record our verse section in Hindi and Punjabi. We arranged for a financial reward to help with his daughter’s education and the project went ahead. We are happy to announce that as a result we have a new verse narration of the Hindi Bible Verses Selection a sample thereof you may find  HERE and also the same for the Punjabi language, which you may find HERE. We are also honored and blessed to share the picture of Anil and his precious family, and we invite you to pray for them and also for the Word of God being heard and changing hearts in India.
