And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 2 Thessalonians 2:8-11

Recently I heard a professor from Oxford University saying that AI, Artificial Intelligence, is not real intelligence but could actually be a new religion – that is, something we worship and trust as god.

In fact, some AI systems are beginning to display the kind of capacities usually ascribed to deities, such as immortality, omniscience and omnipresence. He says that deep fake and deception is the biggest thing to watch out for in our times.

This professor also mentions that this is the time to take a closer look at the Book of Revelation, in the Bible.

Indeed, technologies offer no answer to our deepest questions, such as: Who are we? Where we come from? Where are we going? Except when they help us to find the Way, the Truth and the Life through His Word.

Back in the 19 century, the excitement about the Bible was already there. Gustave Dure, for example illustrated the Bible amazingly with a series of images that can be seen in WP site resources. Wikipedia says this: The illustrations were immensely successful and have been reproduced countless times worldwide, influencing the visual arts and popular culture in ways difficult to measure. The series comprises 139 plates depicting scenes from the
Old Testament, including the deuterocanonical books, and 81 from the
New Testament. (click the image below to see link)
